FERRY NOW CLOSED for Winter from October - Until 1st May 2023
Though we can still operate for pre-booked groups & school field trips.
Over the summer 5 months we have had just over 500 passengers, 40 bicycles & many dogs.
Thanks to all of you, and your appreciative compliments, about the ferry service & the river side Cafe.
The passenger and cycle ferry will return next year for people to enjoy the outdoors & river valley. It will enable visitors keen to see both Whitlingham Country Park, as it develops into a larger outdoor, social and event/glamping venue, and Thorpe Marshes Nature Reserve, as Norfolk Wildlife Trust manages its development as a key Urban Reserve for nature education. You can find more information about Thorpe Marshes Nature Reserve here , and a map in PDF format .
